Nutella and cream cheese cupcakes with a twist. A delicious cupcake recipe that you have to try.

I’m so stoked you stopped by to check out this recipe. Why? Because it’s awesome and very simple to make (no matter if you’re a good baker or not). You should definitely try it!

What you need to expect from this recipe: 3 awesome things!

 

  1. A savory chocolate muffin, with a moist interior and crisp exterior that basically melts into your mouth. All of that filled with healthy and delicious chia seeds.
  2. Topped with light, fluffy, and fresh – airy cream cheese frosting.
  3. A super yummy dessert that looks and tastes absolutely amazing.

If you cannot decide what tasty dessert to serve at a party, lunch/dinner or baby-shower, these cupcakes are perfect!

This is how you bake them!

 

Ingredients

 

Nutella cupcakes (for 12 cupcakes)

All purpose flour – 20 tablespoons

Nutella spread – 1 cup

Eggs – 4

Baking powder – 1/4 teaspoon

Chia seeds – 1/8 teaspoon (optional)

 

Cream cheese frosting (for 12 cupcakes)

Heavy whipped cream – 1 cup (room temperature)

Philadelphia cream cheese – 1 brick (room temperature)

Lime juice – 2 tablespoons

Powder sugar – 1 tablespoon

Gel color – 1 drop (optional)

Salt – a pinch of salt

 

How to

 

The Nutella cupcakes:

Start by preheating the oven – 350° F

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl with a mixer

Line a regular 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners

Pour the composition into the individual liners

Bake for 20 minutes

So simple, right? After doing this, you will have some delicious Nutella muffins that should look like this:

The cream cheese frosting:

First, mix with a regular mixer the Philadelphia cream cheese bar with the lime juice and the sugar. It should look something like this:

Add the cup of whipped cream and mix again on medium speed till the cream is solid. Then pour 1 drop of blush pink food coloring gel (or whatever color you prefer). The cream should look something like this:

Let it cool in the fridge for 20 minutes.
